KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 -- Digital platform company, YToday Sdn Bhd will organise a treasure hunt competition through the Fuhla community application, from Aug 22 to 31 to further enliven the National Day celebration this year.

Its chief executive officer Jazz Tan said the ‘Merdeka Android Warriors Hunt 2020’ competition, which aims to rekindle the spirit of patriotism and foster inter-racial harmony, offered prizes totalling RM50,000 and involved 26 iconic checkpoints set around the capital.

“Participants can start the competition at any of the 26 locations at random during the given period and take selfies and scan the quick response code (QR) found on the competition posters pasted at the locations.

“Participants who manage to collect selfies as well as the most points and are the fastest will be counted as winners,” he told a press conference on the competition here, today.

Tan said among the checkpoint areas were Dataran Merdeka, RexKL Jalan Sultan, Jalan Petaling and Sungei Wang Plaza.

According to him, the visit to the 26 iconic and historic areas would awaken memories of participants as well as increase their knowledge of the history and achievements of the country in the past 60 years after achieving independence.

Those interested can register at www.fuhla.com/merdeka-2020 and download the Fuhla application on their mobile phones.
