Pos Malaysia ‘50 Tahun Rukun Negara’ stamps available now

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 – The Pos Malaysia ‘50 Tahun Rukun Negara’ stamps and first day cover (FDC) in five designs representing the tenets of the Rukun Negara are now available for purchase at www.eziemall.com and post offices nationwide. 

Pos Malaysia group chief executive officer, Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor, said 250,000 pieces of each design, in a 60 sen denomination, have been issued. 

“Pos Malaysia devoted time and effort to the ‘50 Tahun Rukun Negara’ special collection’s design process in order to accurately represent the spirit and values of the Rukun Negara which serves as a national aspiration for Malaysians to build a united and harmonious nation while ensuring its success and stability,” he said in a statement today. 

A collector’s must-have, commemorative special miniature sheet (MS) printed with a die-cut and gold-stamped finish to signify the golden jubilee celebration of the Rukun Negara is also available in a limited number of 25,000 copies at RM5 each.

The FDC with stamps and FDC with MS are also available at RM3.50 and RM5.50 respectively, while a special folder of the collection priced at RM6 each can also be purchased, but there will just be 2,000 available.
